I have been watching a great DVD set on Meta-Medicine and Matrix reImprinting; http://www.e-f-t.co.uk/metamedicine.html

Has anybody else heard and/or practice this? So far I think it is fantastic and I would love to practice it soon.

I was totally bowled over to Meta-Medicine when my newsletter subscribers told me about it. I believe it is a refinement of German New Medicine.  The whole thing makes so much sense.  I look forward to taking formal training at some point - can't wait!

NGM was one of my first approaches when I was diagnosed, I met Dr Hamer's right hand, Andree Sixt, and was guided through my conflicts.  Together with Matrix Reimprinting and thorough EFT, I believe it is the way to go.  Metamedecine has given more variance and adapted the purely biological approach to the modern man with his complexities.  It does confirm that trauma is often the determining starting point of disease.  It also has shown that by resolving traumas, physical symptoms can resolve.

I believe Emma Roberts includes this approach in her EFT work, also Stewart Robertson.  I am sure there are many others.

Thanks for the info Fabienne. My feeling is that this information would not be up on the German New Medicine site if it were not true, not in this day and age of law suits and what have you. Dr Hamer has been through an unbelievable amount of stuff, talk about being persecuted, he has my utmost respect for the work and research he has done. Noreen.

For some reason I missed the 2 previous comments and was unaware of Dr Hamer's comments.  My comments were purely based on personal experience with  the GNM approach, and like Suzanne, I thought that they were closely related, Dr Hamer being the pioneer, and yes it is obvious that Meta Medecine have taken his ideas.

I discovered Dr. Hamer's work 5-6 years ago, before much of it was available in English, with some others who were involved with EFT, some of them in Europe went on to create Meta-Medicine. It is my undersatanding that originally, they were in close contact with Dr. Hamer and had his permission.

From a variety of lists, I have belonged or owned GNM does not advocate Meridian Tapping feeling some way it will take away from the purity of Dr. Hamer's research and him.

I had the opportunity to have a CT brain scan read by Richard Flook who is one of the main trainers for Meta-Medicine both here and in Europe a month ago, with Carole Seaver his student and also trained in GNM. It was a class and informal, but, I was convinced that Dr. Hamer's theory about the ring (focii) marks are indeed present in my brain from traumas in my life time that have caused health problems including a cancer diagnosis in 2002.

But, not limited to that, for asthma showed up, plus some other problems.

The original question asks about meta medicine not about EFT or meridian tapping, neither http://www.metamedicine.co.uk nor http://www.metamedicine.info/lang-en/downloads.html?func=select& give credit or due acknowledgement to GNM or Dr Hamer, they claim copyright on material that is not theirs ethically or morally, though it can be shared for the benefit of everyone as it is on the GNM site. Credit where credit is due. A basic given in life, one hopes, is integrity, ethics and honesty. Noreen.

Noreen, it's so refreshing to hear honesty and integrity on a forum like this. There are many in the tapping world that got onto the bandwagon by stepping over others. Unfortunately sometimes greed is too strong to be fought - a case for doing one's PPP perhaps? I'm not sure. Maybe it's part of evolution that someone had to be greedy enough to do the Meta-Medicine thing and spread it far and wide. However if it had been been me, I wouldn't have knowingly plagiarized copyrighted material either.

Thanks Suzanne, it's awful to see this in the "healing" profession and I've done and do plenty of tapping on it! I think meta medicine's intentions were to make money not spread the word, they could so easily credit the person who developed this system, the fact that they didn't and don't speaks for itself. Perhaps Dr Hamer did not have the marketing machine behind him to promote GNM (maybe because money was not the goal but health??) who knows. But it's like someone claiming they discovered the theory of relativity instead of giving Einstein the credit!! We're all standing on the shoulders of giants and building on what has been done before but I think treating others the way you would like to be treated always works in the long run. Hopefully history will give him the credit he deserves.

 Well it seems Meta-Medicine stands on the high shoulders of GNM. Interesting to see that Matrix Re-imprinting is a combination of many teachings, even leaking into quantum physics. It will be interesting one day when someone takes all the methods of healing and creates a common structure in which they all work.

Noreen, I read Hamer's book on cancer maybe 15 years ago, and while I found it very interesting and knew a doctor who tested his works and found it correct, he mixes in weird things, tending to paranoia, ideologies I wouldn't want to be associated with and a dogmatism not smaller than he accuses his opponents of. Reading more current articles by him on the german website www.pilhar.com, the same phenomenon shows. E.g. he talks about immunizations being used for implanting chips that can easily be activated via satellite to kill a person, for population control. Sorry, but this is paranoia to me.

So GNM (the english word isn't even translated correctly, it should be "Germanic new medicine", which is also kind of an irritating word in german) is burdened with a lot that doesn't belong to the method itself. Liberating it from that and opening it for further development is something that meta-medicine can be thanked for. Would there have been another way to do that? Maybe.
