 Well it seems Meta-Medicine stands on the high shoulders of GNM. Interesting to see that Matrix Re-imprinting is a combination of many teachings, even leaking into quantum physics. It will be interesting one day when someone takes all the methods of healing and creates a common structure in which they all work.

A number of us already work as a general energy healer, although we may identify as an EFT Practitioner for example  :-)

The copyrights and trademarks imho encourage the development of new innovations and refinements.  However, I cannot charge my clients any more to take formal training in a small refinement I can learn from a book and even improve on. Meta-Medicine is one exception where I will be doing the course, as there is a good amount to learn. After seeing all the comments, I still look forward to doing the training. However, I would always credit Dr Hamer with the findings. People can make up their own mind about the origin of something; what matters to them is that I can help them get better. Where that came from is immaterial.

Kira, none of that negates the fact that his tried and tested work and research was plagiarised and is not being given due credit. Noreen.

I respect your view point, I am not sure it is the whole story however, and I found this response to the same question and answer posted to my EFT-Cancer-Support-Study Group by Lars Mygind, a couple of years ago, yesterday.

I have been a proponent of Dr. Hamer's research, since it was first introduced, there are so many people who could benefit by this information and be helped. Meta-Medicine took his research and have expanded on it, the same as we have all done with EFT and our own pursuits and interests in the belief of value and spreading the theory, to help people. To the best of my knowledge, they have always given Dr. Hamer the credit. The reason, they don't on their website is stated below.

Can we get beyond the "conflict" which follows Hamer and work together on this?

In 2004 Ryke Geerd Hamer was part of the founding Meta Medicine group.

Ryke backed out when he realized that many people would work together to improve his fantastic work and that “normal people” could learn the work. Ryke would prefer only MD’s to learn German New Medicine.

Ryke only believes in resolution ie practical solutions to emotional problems, example: if you have a problem with your partner get a new one.

In Meta Medicine we believe in Soulution(not a spelling error). Soulution is healing the problem with an efficient trauma technique. A complete reversal of any disease on all levels, physical, emotional and spiritual is possible. Soulution also removes the risc of healing crises making healing safer.

Ryke is strongly recognized for his work in the Meta Medicine group and in all of our books and materials. Rykes name is removed from the website because Ryke is a very angry and controversial person. We have sent money to Ryke to support him.

I have written to Ryke, but never received any replies. I believe he sees the world in black and white.

I do not believe in copyright of natural laws, I do not think Ryke has anything to copyright. Ryke is simply showing us how nature works and that is fantastic.

I have Rykes old books in German where he just give away everything. Can he take that back now?

Then it was called the new medicine. The name was only changed to “German New Medicine” because it can be copyrighted.

Lets us work together to find the best possible ways to heal.

Thanks for the info Sylvia. There is no conflict, I am simply expressing my opinions. Even if Dr Hamer is "angry" "controversial" etc, he still has an ethical right to be credited for his work. The right thing to do is the right thing to do, regardless of anything else. I looked through the metamedicine websites and I found no acknowledgements to Dr Hamer.

Metamedicine have copyrighted natural laws, the copyright symbol is very visible on their work and websites, so that is the personal opinion of Lars not metamedicine.

Sometimes ignorance is a blessings-I had no idea about all this conflict, but I can tell you that DR Hammer is mentioned as the founder and "father" of all that process. It seems open, free and respecting.

Meta Medicine is a fantastic, pioneering and inspiring method. It combines varied sources of knowledge , and I assume it will bring an amazing change in the world concept of Sickness and Healing.

Of course-ethics and "Energetic Hygiene" is a must, but sometimes there are stories behind the curtains that are unknown. Do we all REALLY know what happened with EFT during the last years and Gary"s experience with the "NEW EFT?"

So, for me, unless things are clear - the best thing to do is add more healing, peace, love and wisdom to  myself and to the world.

Dr Hamer is not mentioned on any of mm websites, I haven't seen their books, so can't confirm whether he is mentioned as the originator in those. Media is media so the absence of credit and acknowledgement to Dr Hamer on the metamedicine websites puzzles me. Websites are a more widespread way to reach people too. I don't understand the logic and reasoning in Lars answer to Sylvia's forum at all.

Meta-medicine is an extended version of German New Medicine.  I studied GNM with Caroline Markolin in Montreal and have been using it for quite a few years.  I am on the Practitioners List for GNM.  I began looking into it over 10 years ago.  Caroline is an excellent teacher of GNM and 100% dedicated.  At one time, a few years back, they advocated the use of Energy Therapies and had a section on BSFF related to Cancer which I am sure Larry Nims co-wrote.  I was totally into it because I am a staunch MindBody practitioner and saw Hamer's work as real proof of this school of thought.

When I did get to the training, finally after many years of searching for it as everything was in German, I was very disappointed to find that Dr. Hamer was totally against any energy work as it would cause the healing to happen too fast and the body may not be able to handle it.  That was alien to me as I have been using EFT for close to ten years and am certified in several other energy techniques becoming a DCEP (Diplomate Comprehansive Energy Psychology) when they started that program a few years back.  During these years, both in my own practice and the practices of those on several forums, I have not heard of a death because a client healed too fast.  That doesn't mean there haven't been any, but I see energy psychology and healing as extremely safe and know that, unfortunately, some people with serious diseases will die no matter what we do.

I don't want to make this too long but just want to get a point across; that is, that I am now an Integrative Health Coach trained by Richard Flook who started Meta-Medicine.  Lars,(on another forum and I believe he is on this one, too,) unbeknownst to him, got me into it.   I was a staunch GNM/Dr.Hamer/Caroline supporter and did not want to go against the rules set up but was finding it very difficult to separate my energy practice from my GNM practice.  It just didn't make sense to me.  Plus, I had made good working relationships with a few other practitioners and did not want to be a turncoat.  Caroline has dissed Richard and Meta-Medicine along with a whole bunch of other off-shoots or anything similar in any way so I did not want to be blacklisted either.

There was a discussion a while back between lars and me about Meta-Medicne and GNM.  I don't remember the exact thrust of it but we were going back and forth with what has been copyrighted by Dr. Hamer.  I was under the influence of the GNM side at the time, but took Lars advice and ordered Richard's book, "Why Am I Sick?"  When I saw that Richard did indeed credit Dr. Hamer with his work and that it was not copyrighted for many years and saw the amazing work these Meta-Medicine guys are doing, I called Richard who returned my call from England and invited me to attend the Seminars that had just started in Ontario.  I subsequently made several trips to Ontario and became certified in Meta-Medicine and I have never looked back.

I am in agreement with Richard and his colleagues in Meta-Medicine that we need to do whatever it takes, with careful consideration of course, to support the client in his/her healing.  Nothing that is in the client's best interest is off limits.  We use whatever techniques we know and are most famiiar with.  I can do MM with a clear conscience.  Also, Dr. Hamer did not actually create "all' of GNM as the Homunculus and Mind Maps done by the Russians were created way before GNM.  He is, Hamer I mean, a genius, no doubt, just by bringing it all together and syynchronizing everything.  But, they should not be horading it as Callahan did with TFT.  Look at the difference Gary Craig made when he started EFT and made it available to the world!  He is the one we mention when we discuss Meridian Tapping and Callahan, even though he started it all, is rarely mentioned.  He did however, receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the ACEP Conference this year and rightly so.

So, I would encourage anyone interested in Meta-Medicine to read the book, check out the websites, www.metamedicine.info, www.metamedicine,org.uk, and www.metamedicine.com.

I have also bought the Matrix Reimprinting DVD's; Karl Dawson and Richard Flook work together on those.  Matrix Reimprinting is a great method, quite similar to going in and tapping on the Inner Child and running the movie as you wish it had been.  Because the unconscious knows everything as happening now, this changes the cellular memory as, I'm sure, you are aware.  We have been doing this for a while with Inner Child, the Movie Technique and also with Neuro Emotional Technique which I have also studied.  Karl put it altogether and made it very workable and I would also recommend his work.  This is the stuff that gets to core issues and very quickly.  Combine that with Meridians, Chakra work, Louise Hay, Messages from the Body, and you're pretty much there.

well I'm confused.

When I looked up MM and GNM a year or two ago, I found some fascinating theoretical things, plus some very wierd sounding stories. From the testimonials page I read of some very minor good results, including one, which astonishingly, was deemed a success although the woman died during the process?! of course, it was from something not directly related to the cancer, but surely you can't call this a success story? Furthermore, there were other very dubious successes.

Secondly, I saw lots of pictures of people who claimed their relatives were killed or almost killed by this method, being unable to let go of their beliefs that it would work.

Thirdly, was how he trashed people he didn't like, in a crazed sounding manner. see for example http://anaximperator.wordpress.com/2009/07/13/german-new-medicine-hamer-house-of-horror/ and the 122 comments there, what nonsense he has said about a Jewish conspiracy, as well as ridiculous claims against the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who passed away years ago, and who was only ever a leader of a minority group of followers. It's hard to trust Hamer when he behaves like this - and not just once. Hamer claimed that the Chief Rabbi of Germany (a post that doesn't exist, but the picture of him is rather similar to a friend of Hamer's) signed that the Jews have killed 2 billion people by denying them GNM. That the Israelis are using his methods (the hospitals here sure don't know about that. It's chemo and radiation, sorry). How can anyone trust someone who has rants like this?

He also claimed to have healed 50,000 anonymous people. Where are these people?

It certainly does seem as though there is a dark side to Dr. Hamer.  Additionally, there are many people who spend their time looking to discredit and demoralize others especially if they rub them the wrong way in some respect.  I know there is good and bad all around and to some degree in every one.  I don't spend my time looking for or at the negative.  I want to use what works and because of my Mind/Body/Emotion background, I have been able to validate the findings of Dr. Hamer in many cases I've personally witnessed and worked with.  I don't believe that there can be many miraculous healings of people who have Stage IV cancer and then try GNM or MM.  Unfortunately, for some it is their last resort. 

GNM and MM are best used as Preventative Medicine.  If we have clients who have these conflicts, it is our job to help them resolve them so as to avoid physical dis-ease.   If they are already diagnosed, Hamer's findings can help them heal, (actually, they can't heal without healing the conflict, but that's my belief) but there is much to do on the physical level as well as the spiritual, mental and emotional.  This is why I prefer MM to Dr. Hamer's process.  They 'integrate' whatever the patient feels will help them.  Dr. Hamer works in a "survival of the fittest mode" and I'm not into that; although, that's what it may turn out to be many times.  I ascribe to Dr. Lipton's Biology of Belief and it seems as though medical doctors including Hamer put a negative spin on too many things that the patient may wind up believeing and then there is the "self-fulfilling prophecy".

I have gotten emails that I am a murderer because I use the precepts of GNM.  Some people just like to look for things to attack!  For me, that goes against "A Course in Miracles" which I have learned much from and Mother Theresa's words about war and peace - I am for peace; not against war' or something like that.  Accentuate the positive is what I focus on.  I'm not interested in what his politics are or his beliefs other than what pertains to what I do in my work.  Propaganda artists can make a case for anything and make it sound true.  I'm very aware of that!

I want to use the good he has produced and that, to me, is not negated by propaganda or actual negativity.

I have a hypothesis about people and cancer.  I think people have a quasi-religious relationship with cancer. This includes finding a sacrificial lamb to appease the cancer god.  Anyway, just my thoughts.  

In my experience, GNM does not give solutions, it gives an idea about the nature of the conflict that has created the symptom.  Often, in nature, there are no solutions, if you have lost your partner, it is not always easy to replace her/him, and nature does not take into account modern life and social aid, you may be safe, have a roof over your head.  I think that GNM or MM or "Decodage biologique", as we call it in French, throws light on our primitive behaviours which we tend to overlook.  This understanding helps us to reconnect with our ancestors and the influence of their biological "rules" on our present lives.

I believe that EFT serves the link to reconcile our archaic brain and modern psychology.

Ultimately, we have to be at peace with what is!  And, EFT and other Energy Psychology techniques helps us do that.
